Syracuse wins again

If you missed the game, you need to catch the replay sometime soon. Syracuse was down by three, looked like Cornell had the game in hand and all of a sudden, Syracuse scored a couple and got within one. The last 45 second of the game were probably the most exciting seconds in lacrosse history. Syracuse did not give up, their attack rode the ball incredibly hard and the Cornell defender made a mistake by not just chucking the ball up the field. Syracuse caused a turn over, connected on an unbelievable behind the back pass and then miraculously caught a feed right on the crease and scored to tie it with 4 seconds left. Once over-time started and Syracuse had possession, I knew it was over, it was amazing. So, for my friends from Syracuse, Liam Banks, Tim Byrnes, Brooks Neal and the great Dave Link, congratulations, the win was well deserved !
More good news from New York, North Rockland HS (I graduated in '85) won their opening round playoff game last night against White Plains, in over-time ! North Rockland has to face the #1 seed, Yorktown HS tomorrow evening. Wish I could be there, my Red Raiders are 12-5 on the season but got smoked by Yorktown opening day so hopefully the result will be different this time around !
Finally, the Bamalax travel program has a new web site, http://www.bamalaxselect.com/, check it out, I'm still adding content but I think it looks pretty good, let me know what you think
